Sharing your aliveness with others is more important than “showing up.” It doesn’t matter if you’re 6 or 60, life is about finding what makes you come alive and sharing your aliveness with others.
I’ve known plenty of people who “showed up” like the walking dead. Their energy sucking the life out of everyone around them. The kind of people who could brighten up a whole room by leaving it.
If you’re a writer, for example, make your words perform you. Write with stirring, vigorous words. Make your words snap like a whip and command any effect - from rolling thunder from the sky, to prying open purses.
Too many people burn their flame on low, or not at all. Burn your flame so we can feel it. Don’t cheat the world of your passion. It’s your job to find the truth as you see it and manifest it into your life and work. Share your aliveness.
Don’t just show up. Show up like no one else.
